Something that I’m experiencing while aging is just how much poor health choices can affect my day to day life. When I was in my 20’s sleep was not a necessity. Up all night? No problem, go to work and stay out late again. Haven’t had any hydration beyond Margarita mix. No worries. Now that I’m rounding 40 it doesn’t fly. I’ve discovered there are 3 basic choices that can impact my state of mind and my physical being.
- Hydration
- Sleep
- Vitamins
Obviously a healthy diet and exercise would bump that energy level up. But for now I’ve experienced quite clearly what the loss of these 3 things feel like. Until you’ve spent several days fully hydrated, with plenty of sleep and taken your daily supplements, you don’t know just how much better you can feel.
