Converted Laundry Room Done

The Creativity Room has been dismantled and I am sad to see it go.

 Before and After Craft Room

This room is brighter than the other so it does work better for a laundry/craft room.

It still works well as a laundry room, yes Virginia, I had an inset created beside the door when we finished the basement that is perfect for a clothes rack.

I put the shelves on the other side so this room still has plenty of space.

The only left left to do, which will be done by the handyman, is a table shelf on top of the washer and dryer so there is a dedicated space to fold laundry.

3 down, 9 to go and I’m exhausted.

  1. Your hardwork is paying off – everything looks so nice. You’ve motivated me to redecorate and declutter – so we’ve been rearranging like crazy the past week. 🙂 I’m certain the people who come to look at your house will appreciate the work you’ve put in to things.

    1. Thank you and I do hope I’m getting this right. It’s hard to know what exactly I’m supposed to do. I read a post about home staging that equated buying a staged home to buying a box full of beautiful things, but only bringing home the empty box. It really does seem strange, but the fact is, it works. When the job offer comes in, I want to be able to get it on the market and sold fast.

An to be honest, it may be tiring, but it’s fun.

    1. As much as I miss my lavender walls, this room is so bright, I often forget to turn on my task lighting. It really was a good decision and thank you for the compliments!

    1. Thank you, it seemed to work out in the end. I was concerned with all my bright colors, that adding one more like yellow would just look like a children’s dentist office.

  2. You’re making me want to finish some of my indoor fixing up projects. But ’tis the season for us to do OUTDOOR fixing up projects. My indoor projects will have to wait for rainier days. Sigh.

    1. I know, we have animals, gardens, flower beds and fast growing lawns that need care as well. I’m fortunate my city husband turned farmer really enjoys taking on most of the outside work for the time being. Also weekends are for outdoors. For whatever reason, when the weekends get here, we tend to spend every single sunlit moment outside and some Summer nights as well.
